I made the mistake of trying to engage in this conversation with my boss. "I'd like to help you feel comfortable about this," they say.
"Can you arange for a whole-civilization transplant?" I say. "Nope, didn't think so."
& their absolute complete lack of comprehension of the scope of the problem—

@cavyherd oh yes, the good old we must manage how you "feel" about it, rather than acknowledge the problem. Track change, it reminds me of how "resilience" was wielded against the children as well. I was accustomed to "resilience" in the workplace meaning "you must learn to accept the abuse", but I was still too naïve to imagine it being used to force sick children into the classroom.
