This was already mentioned in other replies.
But also, I'm not claiming that I am noticing LLMs being intelligent. I am not.
I'm just saying that OP's argument is insufficient to prove that no LLM constructed in this manner will ever be intelligent.

@wolf480pl @leeloo It cannot be argued, either way, until someone comes up with a firm concept of exactly what intelligence is.

@wolf480pl @johntinker Not as long as you keep ascribing magic to them, to make them different from an obviously non-intelligent spreadsheet doing the same math.
