I assume that still lets Tapbots keep the money, I just won't be charged again in May. I hope. My intent was for them to keep the year subscription. Full on with Ivory now. Also, part way through Mac Break Weekly. Nice to hear you on there. Hopefully it's not another 10 years :)

I’ve been happily using @ivory@tapbots.social since it’s wide(ish) release and very very happy to not only pay for this new app, but also not be compensated for TweetBot’s demise owing to DoofusHead’s idiocy. Very very happy with TapBots work and attention to detail. ★★★★★ would sign up again and again.

@marcoarment@mastodon.social @gruber@mastodon.social I didn’t think I deleted the app but maybe didn’t update it … went to the App Store and searched and hit OPEN and found the “don’t need a refund” button. This was after trying to find this in the subscription section of the App Store where it said my payment method was refused.

I opted for the remaining time to be given in their new app, Ivory. I’d not ask them for a refund. Wouldn’t feel right about it. But getting a paid beta? I’m down.

@marcoarment@mastodon.social @gruber@mastodon.social Opening Tweetbot for me didn't prompt the "I don't need a refund" screen, instead showing the same reauthenticate screen. Manually updating the Tweetbot app solved this.

Yes, they still sell the one for $149, but you have to look for it, because they're featuring a new one for people who like to spend lots of money, like Apple always did.
