Anyone have experience with an Emporia EV Charger? Looking to install this one, which seems pretty nicely designed - incorporating a usage monitor on your main panel to throttle charging when you’re using a lot of power for other things. @agiletortoise@mastodon.social I can’t speak to the charger, but the Emporia… vue?… clamps to monitor power usage are beloved in the Home Assistant community. I’ll leave it to you to decide if that’s a plus or minus.

@agiletortoise@mastodon.social I can’t speak to the charger, but I use their Vue app to monitor my home energy usage and have been really happy with it.

@agiletortoise@mastodon.social I have an earlier generation of their charger. The app is nothing to write home about in either good or bad ways IMO. Given what it does, I'm very okay with that.
