@bobdvb@mastodonapp.uk nice setup! A mate of mine (who’s works for an ISP) set up a nice proxmox cluster such that he could run an OPNsense guest as his home router/firewall and have it fail over from one host to another seamlessly. Something to try with your new gear.

@WiteWulf@cyberplace.social I have a UniFi network as my main home network. I did get a second router earlier this year to try out "Shadow Mode" (automatic failover). Which was fortuitous because my aging existing router collapsed a month later. I need to see what it needs to resurrect it and restore Shadow Mode. I could go to OPNsense, but it would mean giving up the convenience of UniFi. But I have already put my dual WAN on VLANs, so I can move anything anywhere when I need.
