@knoppix95 @SemAntiKast @signalapp The problem is always the same: spam. If you don't tight an account to anything kinda unique, spammers will create millions of them instantly. That will result in both users being spammed, and infrastructure costs exploding / denial of service. The day we have a privacy respectful way of dealing with spam, so many problems will be solved...
