Sure. But even though my day job is a crushing bore and the boss pays me in chicken feed, I still feel better not having to rely on Zuck & Friends for my daily bread. I mean, fuck all those guys.

@xenophora you mean for you it's like an ethical decision of stoping art as a career all together or staying on toxic platform, and if it is then you'd just stop art as a career? that's an answer i guess, although i do think there are third or fourth options hihi like i don't think it is impossible to escape! I guess there is a difference between a dependency that can trigger material insecurity, and an obligation. I think in that case being on instagram to make it as an artist isn't an obligation, but for some they used it and build on it which now became a material dependency.
