Just ran what my Google maps walk tells me is roughly two miles trying to catch a scared, lose dog. We're talking Ferris Bueller fence jumping, leaping through yards.
Myself and another person carefully tracked the dog and lost it finally.
We came close a few times, but dog was skiddish.
Dog capture FAILED, but, pretty sure I sold her on the idea of Framework as we walked back many blocks. Oh, I didn't have time for socks or shoes. Slip-ons and no socks. Soaking my feet now.

@matthartley@fosstodon.org I'd say the dog did pretty well to provide you with a chance for your Framework idea.. Nice detail to leave the socks off. That indeed makes your pitch seem totally coincidental. Be prepared she'll see straight thru you and comes back to that later on 😂
