@alexhaist Now you're just recommending my favorite series back to me! I went looking yesterday to see if Arkady Martine had written anything I hadn't read yet and found only a short story.

@oggydyer hah! Rose House is a kick if you enjoy evil architecture, but I'm not much of a short story person. Moving on, City of Stairs has a damn delightful female protagonist, and a humorously dry authorial tone. My wife mentions that Felicia Day is doing an Isekai and litRPG read through on Goodreads, which will soon be relevant to my interests.
