@oggydyer hah! Rose House is a kick if you enjoy evil architecture, but I'm not much of a short story person.
Moving on, City of Stairs has a damn delightful female protagonist, and a humorously dry authorial tone.
My wife mentions that Felicia Day is doing an Isekai and litRPG read through on Goodreads, which will soon be relevant to my interests.

@alexhaist I really enjoyed Rose House! I just remembered I have that new Danielewski novel and I haven't even started it, speaking of evil architecture! I haven't heard of City of Stairs! I'll put it on the list, thank you!
