@Taskerland I always think of that in terms of the whole soot/chimney/coalminer blackface debate. "Yes, I see where you're going with it and I have some empathy, but really is it worth spending your entire life explaining you're not evil"

@Taskerland @Printdevil the swastika is a great example of this as well. many cultures used a symbol of this shape and almost all have since dropped it. the weight of symbolism is too heavy and it is not on the non-nazi side. every assumption, every single one, would be against you for displaying it
