@Remittancegirl @ApostateEnglishman but whilst we discuss matters here, what if the rest of the United Kingdom could not care less about the genocide We will have an understanding of that on Friday when we see how well Reform do compared to the Green Party One of the shocking realisations after the Referendum was how racist a society we remained

@Geri @ApostateEnglishman I suspect it was a shock for us because we're not from a minority group. Those who are knew already. But, we shall see. I am guardedly very hopeful. While I think a lot of Brits don't think too deeply about what goes on outside their country, I suspect the images of OAPs being dragged away while quietly protesting DOES offend them.

@Geri @Remittancegirl @ApostateEnglishman While there is large group of out and out racists, I think #brexit said more about how uninformed our society is. The Brexiters said everything, every easy answer to every difficult question but they said it in such a way that people who didn’t look to closely could pick what they thought they wanted to vote for and ignore the rest. ‘Not what I voted for’ is a common cry amongst those who voted out and even then it only just got over 50%.
