Carney’s track record to me seems like a lot of: I can thread the needle and reach a consensus compromise with the people in the room. But a PM needs to have an independent direction for Canada and have a firm hand on steering to the goal no matter how many lobbyists they pack into the room.

@DavidM_yeg Aye. Trying to appease the billionaires is a losing proposition -- they have shown, over and over again, that no matter what C.S. Lewis may have thought, there truly is no limit to their cupidity. You cannot thread the needle and reach a consensus with them which is in any way good for the people as a whole. #eattherich
