    Up until some millennia ago, humans travelled considerable distances. Limiting them to a small patch of land is cruel.

    Yes and it’s not like they aren’t allowed. Unless you mean the border with a puppet state that still is technically at war with it.

    They are allowed to leave. But due to US sanctions, flights out of the DPRK aren’t allowed to land in most airports around the world. So they can only really leave and go to Russia or China. Why do you think they can’t leave?

    Just as much as everyone else should be allowed to leave their country, at least assuming they’ve committed no crimes against humanity.
