@Geri You're not the only one. It's been clear for a while that the endgame is disruption of the Palestine movement - no doubt at the behest of the pro-Israel lobby, which has way too much influence over our internal politics.

@Geri This is so deeply, deeply wrong. There is an antiwar movement underway and this is an underhanded way to attack it. IMO, it actually further stokes antisemitism by conflating the government of Israel with Jews everywhere, by making criticism of (or support for) that gov equal to antisemitism.

@Geri I note also that in this article on the news that the BBC baselessly links the Golders Green attacks by a seriously mentally unwell man who it also turns out tried to murder his longstanding Muslim friend prior to attacking the Jewish men as if that has something to do with protests: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cj9pn2v7m2wo

@Geri He's playing a risky game. Once you cross the line where *prohibiting* a march of 10k people doesn't *stop* a march of 10k people, you've lost the consent of the governed. He's already on the way out; he should shut up and stop making things worse, but he doesn't understand that's what he's doing.

@Geri Amazing how you had elected a Labour government to had eventually one of the darkest autocratic one in decades. At least, in the US they've been more coherent, voting for the blindest authoritarian candidate, promising repression, recession and violence, and getting exactly it.
