@richiekhoo@hachyderm.io I am really interested about where people are going. And yeah, we need an issues, PRs, Actions alternative hub. Sadly, it’s been sliding sideways ever since MS took over.

@richiekhoo@hachyderm.io I am not sure I can wait to see it go the same way as heroku… 😢

@richiekhoo@hachyderm.io I abandoned github for my personal stuff a couple of years ago. Nowadays, I prefer Radicle, because of its p2p nature (which is quite fitting, considering git itself). I stay present on github for work, mostly... #radicle

@richiekhoo@hachyderm.io I've moved my private stuff to a self-hosted #OneDev instance and I am moving the public stuff I own to @Codeberg@social.anoxinon.de (as time permits).

@richiekhoo@hachyderm.io I left GitHub ~2 years ago. I moved all my private/personal repositories to a self-hosted @forgejo@floss.social instance and moved all my public stuff to GitLab... Then GitLab drank the AI juice, too, so I moved *all* my stuff to my self-hosted instance, though I need to go around the internet updating all the links...

@richiekhoo@hachyderm.io I stopped making contributions because, well, life happens, but if I resume it will be on Codeberg. If a project is on GH and I absolutely *need* to contribute to it, I will unhappily do so while ignoring any and all LLM reviews and hope for the input of a human bean. Also: federation support groundwork for Codeberg (Forgejo) seems super interesting.
