Mom visiting and she hadn’t seen the Hoover Dam since she was a little kid in the ‘50s.
Terrifyingly low water level.

@Holberg@mstdn.social @oldredsubby@sfba.social I have lived in Arizona for 22 years now. If anyone told me in 2004 that the water would drop like this at the Hoover Dam, I would not have believed it. I’m sure I could find my own photos from the early 2000’s at this same spot as you share, and it’s utterly shocking.
