You can also just run a slightly modified version of DolphinDOS on the #C64Ultimate, as it turns out. It is WAY faster than any JiffyDOS derivatives (but doesn’t have a rainbow startup screen). Here’s the variant I’m currently using: https://github.com/donnchawp/DolphinDOS2

@janbeta It’s never going to stop being a thought project of mine, but I wonder how the C64 would feel if BASIC was replaced by something else. One idea is a built in assembler. Another would be a different programming language.
