The first website I remember seeing that collected hiking suggestions was Wandersite, by Ursula Brehm. She just collects the routes including multi-day walks, with links to hotels and restaurants, non-commercial, with a design that seems unchanged since 2003. I love it. It’s what I used for my (incomplete) traversal of Switzerland in 2008/2009.
