for us trans people, the indirect consequences of the ban will be vast, horrifying and largely downplayed and ignored. the direct consequences are tiny. almost no trans person is directly affected. cis female athletes on the other hand... there is going to be a number of stories about them being hit by this. we're talking about tens of thousands of women who will be tested, which means that before long, there will be hundreds of cases having gotten the public's attention. and none of them will be trans. it'll take years, but ultimately it's going to hurt so many people's national pride and shake their belief in the cisbinary.

    also, it's very telling how the people in power forcing these bans into effect are racist pedos, the same people who obsess over impregnating white underage girls. to them, sports is a form of advertisement for eugenics. they aren't really testing for who's cis or trans. for example, they'll go on about "male puberty", but that's not what they're testing. what they're testing for is whether a woman is fertile. and the SRY gene testing is as close to that as they can get politically. for now.

    @jasmine i mean that's exactly why they were scrapped last time. that and the sexual assault these tests often involved.
