comments to that post also suggest that taking testosterone will cause the lint to appear
and that makes sense, right? i bet it's the sebum

@jasmine i was under the impression it's due to hair next to the belly button, and my time shaving the area seems to confirm it. and since that's one of the parts of body hair most sensitive to hormonal changes, HRT makes it appear or disappear.

@jasmine I've heard it's something about hair? Like testo increasing the amount/thickness/length of belly hair, and the hair leading lint from clothes to the belly button. Now that I'm typing it out it sounds unreasonable, though. For one thing, just taking estro doesn't decrease the prevalence of belly hair...
