@jimp yeah, I pulled them out before I rinsed them. Could they be misaligned?

@indi It's possible they aren't seated fully or aren't aligned quite right. It's also possible there is still some ink stuck between the tines of the nib, might need to drag the space between the tines with some brass sheets or similar.
