@indi It's possible they aren't seated fully or aren't aligned quite right.
It's also possible there is still some ink stuck between the tines of the nib, might need to drag the space between the tines with some brass sheets or similar.

@jimp on pulling them out again I can see they have a spot where the end of the nib fits flush on the feed - it would be hard to seat the nib wrong on the feed. So I cleaned it up again in more clean water and put it back together. Hopefully this time it works!
