I’ve never been in a heterosexual relationship but regardless hearing jokes on the radio about men who wish their wives would go away (in a myriad of ways) is confusing and sad.

@lifewithtrees@mstdn.social It’s very weird, because it’s both a popular topic for ridicule - wives, the old ball and chain - and a well researched subject, that men wither away, when they loose their wives.
