What does it mean to be whole to be truthful? It means I don't look away I let myself feel my feelings now Drinking down the moment whether bitter or sweet If I try to ignore it the irony is that's when the trap springs I can only truly be present now or trapped in the past There's no middle ground But one must also tip the scales a bit Fear and sadness sneak in and take over easily They're loud Joy is quiet and must be invited If I am to be whole I must be kind to all my selves and none must bully the others
