And just as I was starting to feel my lowest, the new camp neighbors offered me a huge portion of their freshly made shrimp ceviche. I love this campsite. This beach. This town. This life. Have I mentioned that?

My camp neighbor made me this frittata for no reason except generosity and being an awesome human. It has sheep cheese on top which I’m excited to try. I really love the community that has started emerging here in the last few days.

I swear to you if I did nothing else for the rest of my days except savor, shoot, and share beach sunsets, I would remain a happy man. #sunset #oregon

Despite the amazing hot springs experience in Idaho, I was desperate to escape the heat and the evil biting insects. And only one place was screaming my name: the Oregon Coast. So I decided to retrace my last steps on the Oregon Coast Trail. It was a very emotional reunion. https://seasonsofjason.com/an-emotional-reunion-with-the-oregon-coast-trail/

Never thought I'd say this, but I finally have a valid personal argument for buying digital versions of games over physical ones... My Switch 2 was stolen from my car, along with EVERY Switch 1 + 2 cartridge I owned. I am not a happy camper 🥺 I don't know why someone would take ONLY that... but I'm thinking I may have accidentally left my window rolled down at the beach just enough to reach in and quickly snag it. This is a difficult and expensive lesson.

It's a longshot, but if you ever find yourself in Brookings, Oregon at Chetco Brewing Company... AND you've got proof of finishing the Oregon Coast Trail, your beer is on me!

Thought you @thunderbird@mastodon.online fans might be interested to know that I’m in Nyssa, Oregon: “the Thunderegg capital.” The Native Americans who lived here believed that the basalt rocks were eggs for the legendary Thunderbirds! #nature #oregon

When I started pondering living the nomad life, I was concerned I'd grow to resent having so few things, and such a limited space to store them. The opposite is becoming true! https://seasonsofjason.com/nomad-tetris-the-game-im-learning-to-love/ #Nomad #Blog #CarLife

A narrow spur trail away from the crowded, touristy viewing point of Granite Creek Falls leads to a magical, secluded place. Absolutely wonderful! https://video.seasonsofjason.com/w/24Dte3EQN9ys7uSdw3dV84 #Video #PeerTube #waterfall #Wyoming

I think this is the closest to the top of a waterfall I've ever been. It was deliriously awesome. Here's a quick video about it: https://video.seasonsofjason.com/w/24Dte3EQN9ys7uSdw3dV84

One year ago today, I embarked on the second half of my Oregon Coast Trail thru hike. I have such fond memories of that entire experience. Someday I’ll get around to writing them up in detail. A few of my favorite photos from that day:

I finally found the perfect 4th of July spot. Thank you, Granite Creek, Wyoming! Zero fireworks. Zero screaming kids. Zero drunk idiots... Just peace, quiet, good air, and sleep.

If anyone wants to support me on YouTube with comments and views, you'll have my enthusiastic gratitude. These are fun to make, and I'll make more when I have time. My only goal is to make enough there to put gas in the tank :) https://youtu.be/fG9BwvY0SkA (I will post everything on Peertube as well.)
