External HDD seems to be failing so I had to order a new one.
Prices have gone up massively since November.
To the point that the 8TB HDD I'm buying is 25% more expensive than the 8TB one I originally bought...ten years ago.
AI bubble can't pop soon enough.

@ian@phpc.social I happened to check yesterday and Amazon wants almost SIX TIMES what I last paid for my 8TB 2.5" SSDs in 2023. 🤪
