#TTRPG question
I have a city which is in layers. a couple actually. surface streets, which are on top of a cliff, catacombs, a 2-3 underground levels for people who belong in/prefer the underground. these lower levels can be reached either by ingress/egress from the surface streets, or directly through the cliff.
are there any mapmaking software tools that can handle that? most I've seen assume one layer, and granted, that is the norm.
I... don't know what other hashtags to use other than (guessing) #FantasyMaps

@draNgNon@hachyderm.io Just about all graphics or GIS software I can think of supports some form of layers that you could use for this so I assume you are after some more specific functionality related to the layers, could you be more specific?

@draNgNon@hachyderm.io learning to sketch a map is much faster than learning blender. Alternatively, just don't map. I'm surprised more games don't just leave it out. Players often have to navigate without one. You can describe a city in paragraphs. Once you have the connection between places, that's all you need.

@draNgNon@hachyderm.io Dungeondraft can do different levels of the same map.
