  I can't get Thunderbird to work, probably because of snap. Not sure when installing things with apt started to just give you the snap package instead. Do I need to move to Debian? I don't want to fiddle with my computer, I just want it to work.

  A lot of people like games, so a lot of researchers get excited about contributing to the study of games. Reviewing game studies papers is often just repeating “have you considered reading what has previously been written on this topic?”

  I'm reviewing applications for our master's program. We had to cut one applicant because they used imaginary scientific references in their research plan. They used a lot of effort in the application otherwise, so it's sad to see AI-enabled academic fraud as a way to cut corners.
