@thefathippy I don’t have an EV or AC, but the heat pump in my locale changes my usage wildly between seasons, that’s why I’m curious about other people’s usage pattern wrt batteries
Nov-Mar: 1300 to 1800 kWh per month
The rest of the year: 300 kWh / m

@GuillaumeRossolini Wow! That's a massive difference. A very different environment from my mild winters. Occasionally it drops to 0°C here. No snow in the last 40 years that didn't instantly melt. We hit 30-35° a lot in summer, but unlike western Sydney, 40° is very rare. I'm considered a light user of electricity by my power co, but notice I'm consuming more since getting panels & battery. Partly my EV, partly because I'm less miserly with use now I'm not getting bills or using coal power.
