I suspect most major Linux distribution maintainers have already released kernel packages that patch the bug. (I've confirmed that the exploit doesn't work on my fully upgraded F44 systems.)

If you're running an updated version of a supported Fedora release, you ought to be safe. The fix was introduced in 6.19.12, and f42, f43 and f44 are all above that now.
