Also, anyone who pays any attention at all to how drivers in San Francisco behave could have predicted exactly this outcome. Private drivers violate transit only lane restrictions all the time, anything that will save them even 5 seconds is fair game. Anyone that thinks drivers would willingly forego a shortcut through downtown traffic is not fit to make decisions about road usage or transit regulations.

@ryanboswell@sfba.social I've seen them blocking hospital entrances, especially at Cancer hospital patient drop off zones. Just sitting there, making it difficult for patients to get to appointments for procedures and such.
