Monitor layouts?
I have my monitors at work:
2 monitors (3+2) side-by-side, with the laptop screen approximately under the join of the 2 screens.
Logically the 3 monitors are horizontally aligned with the laptop screen (1) on the far left (top-aligned) (see pic).
IT guy came today to fix something and was surprised by the layout (e.g. that laptop was not logically underneath). Am I a monster?

(that all 3 are different physical sizes and different resolutions is a boundary condition, not of my choosing. That the dpi various significantly is perhaps a bit weird, but I'm used to it and my eyes are good.)

@hattom@mastodon.social yes. I have a similar setup, two large monitors side by side, laptop placed in front in the middle, and have the digital alignment match the physical!

@hattom@mastodon.social I used to have two monitors next to each other in portrait orientation (because I was reviewing documents in A4/letter). Chaos on the occasions that something reset and the mouse started moving at 90° to what you were expecting. The laptop was docked wherever as I wouldn't use that screen as well.
