@arisummerland I understand why hundreds of years ago, the europeans fell in love with it and became obsessed. It is a beautiful material...humbling to work with, but it's forced me to get really good at my craftsmanship. I haven't done much handbuilding...i'll guess that making sure attachments are secure and drying slow are the key to success?

    @kenSwinson Definitely, along with not going too thin or uneven so the whole piece dries at a similar rate. It's been a while since I did any clay work. My aspiration is to get back to it if I can ever actually retire... right now, I can't load my hands and arms up with more work than they're already being loaded with. Ugh. Bummer!
