you know what’s a bummer? even though JR lets kids under elementary school age ride free, you can only travel with 2 kids (per adult) before you need to buy a child ticket. so even though all 4 of my kids are below school age, i’d still have to buy two child tickets to take all of my kids anywhere by train 😮💨

@pippa@famichiki.jp Not just JR but other train and bus companies adopt the same rules. I know the fares are still not that expensive, but I know it's a pain.

@pippa@famichiki.jp Something something 少子化問題 🥴 You'd think with that many littles, they'd set up like a pass system or something so you just have to show station staff and have them let you all through Scrambling to buy tickets when you have as many littles as your own limbs sounds like a nightmare 😭
