13 years ago today…Tokyu 8090 series on the Oimachi Line with a farewell sticker. The Line had been known for &quot;the place of old trains&quot; as most train there were reallocated from the Toyoko or Den-en-toshi Line.

I value democracy. I firmly believe that, as a principle, the destiny of a country must always be determined by its own people, and outsiders should refrain from interfering with domestic matters. However, I must also say that the growing light-blue bar on the chart is still disturbing.

Most people would be confused by its English name, as the Japanese one does not refer to &quot;Kagawa&quot; in any way. *This university is owned and managed by an educational institution called Kagawa Education Foundation, derived from its founders&#39; name.

There was an unexpected encounter at a classroom with a Tsugaru-accent speaker. It was a bit surprising, but I could get what the student was saying, and I found the dialect quite charming.

Left Koganei after living there for two years. It might not be as fashionable as neighbouring stations, but Higashi Koganei is a quiet yet convenient place with good people, and I liked it.

Nine years ago today…Hakone Tozan Railway 100 series approaching Ohiradai station. No. 108 had a triangle pattern just below the windscreen, which I really liked. The old train will be operational until January 2028.

A limited express train in Shimane Prefecture came to a halt as its horn would not stop, and then its toilet overflowed. I must admit I laughed a bit at this news (apologies and kudos to the driver and guard).
