The only way to avoid fake LLM CVE, bug reports, etc... is to have formally verified code, that is guaranteed not to have bugs. Something that ada + spark have been doing for years. Just like Trump dumb war on Iran is pushing everyone, everywhere, to use renewables, LLM and fashbros war on the Internet and open source may well push everyone to adopt formal methods and serious engineering for code. At least, one can dream.

    @ParadeGrotesque@mastodon.sdf.org Sadly, while Trump & co are answering the question of "what would it be like if we turned the federal government over to PE and corporate-raiders", they're also all but blocking the US citizenry from going further down the renewables path. That blocking being especially ironic given the push for massive, power-hungry "AI" datacenters. Renewables are significantly quicker to build out and, given a large enough datacenter campus, allow a DC-operator to build out their own power-sources rather than having to be in queue for transmission lines and transformers.
