I like the simplicity of #English handwritten cursive. There’s basically one way to connect letters. Most letters have pretty loops. The amount of ambiguous letters is minimal. At least in the lowercase letters.
Compared to #Russian letters which are quite overloaded and sometimes ambiguous. And have two ways to connect letters that are context-dependent! And the whole amount of letters makes for pretty weird shapes sometimes. And duplicated backtrack movement that’s wasting a lot of time to repeat, absolutely hostile to shorthand writing.

@aartaka I'm still not sure how to properly differentiate о and е (same for o and e in Latin script too, of course). During school, I always thought letters were designed by people who didn't have to write then.
