I do not wish to extend this thread but have to put this on the record:
As a man I completely reject this exculpatory bullshit line of argument about ‘genetic imperatives.’ As an adult person, I am fully responsible for my actions and choices. Full stop.
The narrative you have presented, Neil, is part of the cultural landscape that not only excuses, but rewards men for abusive, dangerous, and harmful behaviour.

@NicelyManifest A man who is not responsible for his own behaviour is a present and ongoing danger to the people around him, and any suggestion that this is the case should immediately disqualify him for any position of responsibility or leadership. Anything otherwise brings us to the terrible world we currently live in, where many are rewarded for transgression and causing harm. 2/f @Drude
