@aredridel yea, it's deeply unfashionable now to finish a thing before shipping it. why bother if the market will allow you to push out something half-done along with a promise to complete it that everybody knows isn't true?

@SnoopJ Yeah, kinda this. though also what we're shipping are systems. You can't know what the final state will be without seeing the reactions to parts. Everything is built incrementally, and that's actually normal and good. The problem is that the regulatory networks that drive things toward being good for people are reallllly weak right now.
