@kdv Indeed. But the better example to use is Mussolini. His ant-immigration push & replacement of authority figures in governance with loyalists is much more one to one to our present-day dilemma.

@kdv it started all together and also with camps: KZ Dachau, am 22. März 1933 eröffnet - nur wenige Wochen nach Hitlers Ernennung zum Reichskanzler KZ Oranienburg (bei Berlin, 1933) KZ Esterwegen (Emsland, 1933/34)

@kdv ...prohibiting firearm ownership - unless you're in some specific state organisation (somehow this gets always left out). Other fun thing the Nazi party did at the start of their rise: They asked for entry fees to the speeches. The only party in history I know to be able to pull THAT off (they were cash strapped for quite a while).
