#WordWeavers 27 April: What one thing (no matter how expensive or impractical) would make it easier for you to write more books more easily?
A cure for ME/CFS.
Failing that, a house I owned and enough money to live on. As Virginia Woolf said: 'a woman must have money and a room of her own if she is to write fiction' and I think that applies to anyone. Virginia's point is that, historically, women have not had this, and this is why there is so much more male fiction in the 'canon'.

#WordWeavers 27 April cont'd: Actually, yestercay's #WritersCoffeeClub asked us to recommend a book about writing, and I didn't want to be boring as I have mentioned King's On Writing a few times in these games, so I didn't say anything, but A Room of One's Own is also a must read. Divinely written and extremely sharp, Woolf is right on the money. Like so many who were complaining about 'Women in Writing' or 'Women in SF' panels that we had so many of 15 years ago, Woolf was asked to speak>
