@hugh@social.crablab.uk depends a lot on your itinerary. The time limit, split between JR East and West and ineligibility for metro lines can all make it tricky to calculate.

@marksteward@mastodon.social Yeah, short of putting it all in a spreadsheet (which I don't want to do, and my itinerary is incomplete in any case)... I'm willing to pay a small premium for the additional flexibility & lack of hassle. What's particularly difficult about the JR East/West split?
