It hadn't booted after I finished lunch and a live toot. I'm kind of mystified why Manjaro would boot successfully to ISO but not to the finished install. The default install shows the splash screen instead of the detailed boot information so I have 0 idea what it's hung up on. I'm going to try a third time but try to edit the grub file while it's still on the ISO so I can get a detailed view and hopefully see what it's getting stuck on.

Editing the grub file to take quiet out didn't solve the problem of not being able to see what is going on. At this point, while I don't actually want Arch, I'm tempted to download an Arch ISO to see if that will at least install.
