First, I just want to say that I am offended by the assertion that 2000 was more than 25 years ago. That is a vicious lie.

@jlamoree@infosec.exchange The trick to this is to keep living. My husband commented on how the cities had grown since he made this same trip (that we were on) in high school. I did a quick calculation. "That was half a century ago," I said. It always sounds more impressive when you go to the century fraction. 😎
