I thought for years that paracetamol had little effect on me.
It's true it doesn't help on its own with some of my pain sources (eg migraine, fibromyalgia, etc.) and has a minor effect in working with other painkillers I take.
But it turns out it is very good for the pain from my recent eye operation. I can tell when the last dose starts to wear off and how well it works first thing in the morning.
Surprising as I'd thought a NSAID would be better

@tiggy I thought the same too for me! Then recently found that Tylenol Extra Strength has been working great for some things. I have no idea if somehow the formulation changed (like older pills were maybe too light a dose?), things changed as I got older, or if it’s the type of thing I’m using them for is more suited now.
