@mosgaard@uddannelse.social AppImage is a very easy and portable format, in my experience - you just download it, put it where you want it, and make the file executable, then run it either from your file manager or a terminal, which should launch the window and also give you log output in the terminal if there's a problem. There's a bit more to adding it to your menu in the gui, but often AppImage stuff will have a menu option to handle that for you. But as far as I know, you should not need to mess with wine at all.

    @jpaskaruk I normally just use GearLever for App Images which works really great. What I'm thinking about Wine, is if it comes with it's own containerized Wine, or if it uses the normal Wine prefix. I would prefer not to break what's already working :)
