I cut my teeth in an Irish pub in Reading when I was 19. It was very lively, mostly good but occasionally scary. Chairs would fly on some of the more crazy nights. Then I worked at the Hobgoblin in Reading as an assessment manager. This pub was small but an absolute goldmine, it was never not busy. • @ArtBrew@mastodon.art About 12 months ago someone mentioned the Hobgoblin so I went looking at reviews. I found a photo of someone in there that could well have been my late Dad. I'm still not 100% sure but I know around the time of the photo he may have been in Reading having something done to his bike. I've kept the photo.
