yeah I see but I am no longer 'plugged in' for internet access. It's all through my phone's hotspot now (I got a reasonably good dataplan)
which works for me, but I'm sure my grown kids would prefer something more reliable than a NAS connected to 'mom's phone' that I take with me when I leave the house. (they have their own apartments)
I want them to be able to use the nextcloud services even when i'm out of the house.

@Sassinake Ah! yes, that is an entirely different kettle of fish. Sizing your system will be the expensive part, as I said before. You might be able to use a Dropbox or similar to get a few free GB of storage as well. A lot will depend on what you need to share. If it is calendars, text documents, you will be fine. Movies and large photo libraries may be harder.
