Yesterday we had a quilt walk through Canberra City, from Greta Place to CMAG, to celebrate Canberra Quilters 50th birthday. I took along my gemstone quilt. #quilting

@juliew2010 coincidentally I’ve been reading a book on jewelry making from the 60s and just finished the chapter on lapidary and stone cutting. What a stunning rendering in piecework! You really captured the light.
